Some imagery I’m into these days. I don’t feel I have get my inspiration from a single art form, or even from art itself (I get a lot of inspiration from conversations between strangers for example), so this is just a tiny little hint of what I like, with the focus on stuff that’s not too old.
My fascination for pictures by William Eggleston is fading away. So I didn’t include one of his photos. In pursuit of some nice shots of my own I visited a small patch of allotments (had to look up that word, never heard of it before but I guess it is the correct translation of ‘volkstuintjes’, though I think sites like that are very region specific) and within five minutes one of the owners wanted to know ‘who I worked for’. I noticed people don’t trust you when you’re carrying a camera around in public. I don’t like that, but I guess it’s not their fault, or mine either.
