I finished knitting Plissé, a jacket designed by the Danish designer Hanne Falkenberg. It is constructed very ingeniously, and the colour my mother picked is very deep and rich in it’s blue-and-green-and-blackness. I’m very proud of the result, and my mother accepted it very happily today.
Once again it was a labour of love, knitted on too skinny needles with too skinny yarn, taking too many hours, but draping wonderfully in the end and with awesome structures. Imagine the blues in these pictures a couple of shades more saturated and bright, because that’s the real colour.
